This fall, the Southborough Senior Center is hosting a series on alternative medicine. Despite the forum, Center nurse Leslie Chamberlin assures that the program is open to everyone (regardless of age or residency).

In the bimonthly newsletter of the Friends of the Council on Aging, Chamberlin promotes:

It is always advantageous to have knowledge of the treatment modalities that exist in addition to traditional medicine.

The other sessions include lectures on reike, reflexology, acupuncture and herbal medicine. Although free to access, each session is limited to 25 people. (As of Friday, there was still plenty of room in both sessions. But don’t wait too long to register.)

To register, call 508-229-4453.

The sessions will take place on Monday afternoons, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 9 Cordaville Road:
