There are a number of iOS and Android apps that can be used by anyone to take better care of their health. There are fitness apps, medication tracking apps, sleep apps, and even alternative medicine apps.

For anyone who practices natural medicine and even those who are just curious about it, the Handbook of Natural Medicine is a great app to have on your phone.

According to the Healthline article, this is actually the app version of “The Clinician’s Handbook of Natural Medicine” and you can use it to help treat conditions using natural means.

The Natural Medicine Handbook can be downloaded only on Android devices.

Homeo Guide

Another example of alternative medicine is homeopathy, which is defined as WebMD as “a medical system based on the belief that the body can heal itself”.

“Those who practice it use small amounts of natural substances, like plants and minerals,” adds WebMD.

A homeopathy app available for download for those who practice or wish to learn about this form of alternative medicine is Homeo Guide. As the name suggests, the app can serve as a guide for anyone wishing to use homeopathy to treat minor ailments and injuries.

Many may not realize it, but yoga can actually be classified as complementary or alternative medicine. A good yoga app to install on any yogi’s phone is Yoga Studio.
