SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 5 — Juan Roberto Ramirez, Jr. is scheduled to be sentenced for drug trafficking on July 1. He is being held at the MDC and needs medical attention.

On May 5, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Victor Marrero, held a hearing. Inner City Press has it covered.

Ramirez’s attorney has demanded to know when his client will be taken in for medical treatment.

The answer was that giving the date might get family members or well-wishers to show up. So the date will only be given to Judge Marrero, ex parte.

The case is US v. Ramirez, 19-cr-579 (Marrero)
