Olivia Newton-John advocates for alternative medicine and plant-based lifestyles


After a three-decade battle with breast cancer, Olivia Newton-John died last week at the age of 73. During her cancer journey, she has advocated for alternative medicine and a plant-based lifestyle.

Newton-John received traditional medical treatments throughout her battle with cancer, but she also supplemented it with acupuncture and massage therapy, which led her to explore alternative medicine and grassroots living. of plants.

She turned to a herbal lifestyle and medicine to pioneer a “sweeter, happier, healthier existence”. She advocated for herbal treatments and urged medical professionals to take them more seriously. Her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, was even inspired by her mother’s lifestyle change and announced that she was eating vegan and feeling great.

Newton-John created his own foundation called the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund to support research into herbal medicines to provide cancer patients with more options during treatment. She raised funds and opened the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research and Wellness Center in Australia in 2015, as well as the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute.

We are so sad to see this amazing woman go too soon. His work and advocacy are appreciated and will be part of his legacy.
