Actor-politician Sunny Deol is not in pink health. He is undergoing medical treatment in the United States.
According to Sunny’s rep, the “Border” star injured her back a few weeks ago while filming one of her projects.
He underwent treatment in Mumbai for a week and then flew to the United States for treatment. Due to his injury, Sunny who is a Lok Sabha MP from Gurdaspur, Punjab had to miss the vote of President Draupadi Murmu.
“Sunny Deol injured his back a few weeks ago while filming, he first underwent back treatment in Mumbai and then he flew to the United States for his back treatment he two weeks ago. Presidential elections were held at that time and he was not in the country as his treatment is still not completed. He is expected to return to India after his recovery,” the spokesperson said.
Sunny will be seen sharing screen space with Pooja Bhatt and Dulquer Salmaan in R Balki’s “Chup.” It also comes with ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Apne 2’.
Sunny also has Soorya in her chat. Apparently, the film is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam thriller “Joseph”. In April, he unveiled his look from the film, in which he is seen sitting on a staircase, looking lost in deep thought.
“Describing his character, Sunny wrote, “He had all the happiness, but then the journey of life took away his happiness and he was left with hate, anger and revenge. But Soorya has found a purpose… #Soorya,” Sunny posted. ANI
