Anderson County Animal Control says Piper Pepper has a long way to go

UPDATE (03/14/22) – Donations to help pay dog’s medical bills have exceeded original fundraising goal.

A GoFundMe page to raise money for Piper Pepper, a dog found abandoned in poor condition in Anderson County last week, has exceeded a fundraising goal of $500. According to the account, $1,050 was collected Monday night.

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A dog found abandoned, lying in a ditch on US 127 in Anderson County, has a long road to recovery and Anderson County Animal Control is hoping that people will be able to help with financial donations.

According to Anderson County Animal Control, Piper Pepper was found in poor condition, rushed to a veterinarian, who was unsure whether she would be able to survive the first two nights.

According to the animal shelter, Piper is now ready to go to a rescue that can help her recover, but she still has a long journey ahead and needs your help.
